About this class
Develop confidence to interact with others in English as you work towards a nationally recognised qualification. This FREE ESOL course teaches you skills to help you communicate verbally in English. It can support you in job interviews, social conversations, or in your studies. This ESOL level 1 speaking and listening course builds on skills you learnt at entry 3. Gain tools to help you in conversations and sharpen your listening skills. This is an English course for adults. It is aimed at speakers of other languages. Learn the WEA way Welcome to the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of adult education in England and Scotland. Founded in 1903, the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) is a charity dedicated to bringing high-quality, professional education into the heart of communities. With the support of nearly 3,000 volunteers, 2,000 tutors and over 10,000 members, we deliver friendly, accessible and enjoyable courses for adults from all walks of life. You do not need any previous knowledge or qualifications to join most of our courses, only a willingness to share with others your curiosity, ideas and experience.
