About this class
YES offer a lively, engaging, fun and challenging ESOL course, aimed at ESOL learners in the local community wishing to practice and improve their English fluency and functional ability. This means: learning how to become more confident in everyday english use, in talking and writing to people in your daily life, making friends, engaging in conversations, improving your reading and listening, and doing team work. Unlike some other types of conversation and ESOL, YES aims to specifically progress you through the entry levels, so you will be able to improve (and prove) your skills, and allow you to progress to General English or even IELTS in the future. You can join even if you think you are a ‘beginner’. You can join if you think you are more than a beginner! We will diagnose your ESOL level, give you an action plan to improve your level, and work with you to find out your specific needs, hopes, and wishes, after registration.

Yorkshire English School
Yorkshire English School is a private language school, conveniently situated in the centre of Huddersfield, opposite the railway station, and only five minutes away from the bus station. Yorkshire English School, known as ‘YES’, delivers engaging and motivational, supportive, and personally-tailored English tuition, specializing in: General English (all levels, with progression through the levels), IELTS Preparation/English for Academic Purposes courses, one-to-one tuition in any area of English and study skills, writing and speaking/conversation practice and support, and community ESOL, (English +Skills for Life, Pre-employment, and Employment Skills). We welcome all EFL and ESOL learners, no matter what your need and preference may be! We also run lessons in other languages, subject to demand. Female only classes can be provided by arrangement, as can a creche facility.
