From CV writing and job clubs to English lessons for ESOL learners, you’ll get practical help and guidance every step of the way. Services include access to training, volunteering, keyworker support, financial advice, and wellbeing resources.

Goodwin Development Trust
Goodwin Development Trust, Two Way Street ESOL & Employability Programme DO YOU WANT TO LEARN ENGLISH at GOODWIN DEVELOPMENT TRUST – We provide ESOL sessions for anyone from a BAME/ Refugee background aged 16 plus, based in the Goodwin Community Hub , 63-71 Anlaby Road, Hull HU3 2LL . We have a dedicated ESOL Teacher who delivers English Speaking and conversation sessions in a welcoming and comfortable environment and supports the preparation for Exams, we also have a dedicated Teaching assistant to assist the Teacher with the delivery of the programme. Along side this we have a dedicated keyworker delivering focused one to one support with money management, housing Support and much more. Support into employment including help with CV writing and applications, interview preparation and personalised job search. Volunteering and Training Opportunities, digital Inclusion, Learn My Way, basic IT skills training for learning and enhancing employability opportunities. Fast Track referrals to Citizens Advice (Debt, Benefit Advice, Legal issues and City Health Care Partnership (Mental Health Support) We deliver ESOL Sessions Every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday – 10am to 2pm and one one sessions should this be required, we are also a rolling Programme all year round. We offer a variety of other projects such as, Work Placements, Employability and Training. Games design, Music Lab and Creative Writing ( Please contact for more details) . We have highly trained staff and a safe space, where people can come and talk about any problems or feelings they may be struggling with, all Staff are friendly, considerate, approachable and understanding of the needs and requirements of all the students. On a Friday we also offer the food Pantry at a cost to join of £2 to join, this is held at the Octagon Walker Street 10-12pm
