About this opportunity
This course will help you understand some of the key terminology for driving in the UK. It is designed for refugees and migrants to understand UK driving culture and some of the key rules for driving in the UK. It is delivered in simple English which is suitable for Entry Level 2 and above. It also includes 1-2-1 support from an employability advisor. This course can help prepare you for the driving theory test and make you more employable for the future You will need to come for an initial Maths and English assessment before the course start date. RETAS Leeds
Established in 2002, RETAS (Refugee Education Training Advice Service), is a well-respected community-based charity that supports the social, cultural and economic integration of refugees and asylum seekers in West Yorkshire. Located in the heart of Harehills, we annually, support over 3000 new asylum seekers and refugees and over 10800 related cases. We run learner responsive ESOL course specifically catering to beginner and illiterate learners. We also run digital skills and additional courses in the language around navigating the transition between asylum and refugee status. We offer a full holistic wraparound advice service.
