Wakefield Adult Education Service has expanded its very successful online learning programme and is now offering a wider range of nationally recognised qualifications that can be achieved in only 8 weeks.
Studying online takes advantage of technology and means you can plan your learning around work and family life. All the courses are FREE*, regardless of income and you can gain a nationally-recognised Level 2 qualification in any of the subjects listed below.
Prior to enrolment, you will be invited to complete an initial assessment activity to ensure the course you choose is the correct level for you.
*There is a cost implication for non-completion.

Meet the provider
Wakefield Adult Education Service
We offer courses ranging from ESOL for Beginners where you will improve reading and writing skills and learn how to speak and listen to others to support life in the community such as shopping, appointments, school, hobbies and interests. We then work with learners to progress onto an ESOL qualification where the focus moves onto grammar and punctuation and then onto English functional skills provision through to level 2.
